Pioneering a new visa category in Latin America

ProColombia, the leading entity promoting investment, tourism and exports in Colombia, featured our work around the design and development of the region's 1st digital nomads visa. Learn the official article here.

World Tech, a startup well known in programming bootcamps in Latin America, created ePioneers, the first community for digital nomads and remote workers in the region. Inspired by the work of Estonian eResidency, the startup has worked in its new service branch since March 2020, partnering with private and public sector partners. The initiative is expected to facilitate the arrival of at least 45,000 digital nomads to the country in the first 18 months.

Born as a spinoff from World Tech, ePioneers is now a separate entity that will be based in the UK. We are attending Carbon13 (Cambridge, UK) aiming to become leaders in Climate Tech Fintech. Follow our journey reading our blog. We will bring updates every week!

We want to publicly thank all of our business partners who have believed in this vision since day 1, starting with La Valentina (, the world class design studio that created our ePioneers brand. We also want to thank ProColombia for being so supportive throughout the past 18 months, along with the World Wide Fund Colombia, the Colombian Congress, the Colombian Senate and the Chancellor's office: you helped make our vision a reality, contributing to making Colombia the 1st country in the region to launch a visa of this kind.

We also completed the IDB Lab + Darwin + CUBO accelerator program and received incredible mentorship support to expand our operations in Brazil and beyond. We can't wait to continue unfolding the CoRevolution with our allies.
